On behalf of the Board of trustees and Staff at Monrad Te Kura Waenga o Tirohanga we would like to thank our school community for your flexibility and willingness to support our kura during a disrupted term.  We have had a majority of classes affected by Covid and in some cases classes, staff and students away from school for a few weeks.  We are looking forward to Term 2, celebrating the academic, cultural and sporting success of our Tamariki.

A special welcome to Heather Ayerst who will be teaching in Te Wheki for the rest of the year.  We welcomed Heather with a whole school outside Pōwhiri.  Wharekauri and Teige inspired our student-led Pōwhiri with mihi and karakia, tēnā kōrua, otirā tēnā tātou katoa.
