IDDNZ Fundraiser Event

Matt and lewis —

Liver Disease Awareness Month

We are lucky to have Lilly Thorenson at our school.  Lilly has been through years of blood tests, multiple surgeries, a liver transplant and battled cancer in her lymph nodes.  Lilly's dad Luke donated part of his liver to save her life on the 4th of May 2010 in a 16-hour surgery.

Our Pou Ākonga (student leaders) are going to fundraise for the kid's foundation to raise money for other students experiencing liver disease in New Zealand.

On Friday 8th July students can wear mufti for a gold coin donation and at lunchtime, we will be selling food items.  All proceeds will go to the Kids Foundation.  We encourage students to bring $2-$10 to purchase a range of items.
