Welcome to Week 8's newsletter! By now, you've likely noticed our new newsletter format, and we hope you're as excited about the change as we are. I've been working on creating a more modern, user-friendly design that’s not only easier to navigate but also less time-consuming when it comes to formatting images and other content.

I first discovered "Hail" at the NZPF Conference in Christchurch last year, and last week, Midge and I completed some online training. This week, I decided to give it a try and create this newsletter using Hail. In addition to being more efficient for us to produce, it also offers some great features – like the translation button that allows you to view the newsletter in four different languages. Just click on your preferred language, and it’s all set!

With Hail, we can now include more photos, live links, and videos, making the newsletter more interactive and engaging. In the future, we also plan to transition our website to Hail, creating a one-stop hub for everything. This move will also reduce the need to approach our amazing local businesses for sponsorships, as we currently do.

While there may be a few teething issues as we get used to this new system, we’re excited to hear your thoughts and feedback on the updated format.
