A happy, enjoyable, and successful Spring Fair requires an enthusiastic person who enjoys being the leader of a team. Our school community have demonstrated year after year their ability, creativity and willingness to create an amazing event. This community energy needs leadership.

We are looking for someone who enjoys organising, someone who is enthusiastic and loves to guide. Someone who can visualise the next Spring Fair in its full glory and who wants to make that vision happen.

Spring Fair 2021 will be our first fair together with the school on the farm.

Responsibilities involved are:

• DELEGATING, SUPPORTING and KEEPING AN OVERVIEW.

Each part of the event will have a coordinator and you will provide support, guidance and information. You will hold the roster of all jobs and encourage parents and the wider community to find their place on the roster.

• COMMUNICATION.

You will ensure everyone gets the information they need on time, through meetings, emails, newsletters, bulletins, and promotional material.

As the next Spring Fair Coordinator

• You can rely on past fair-coordinators experiences and successful strategies, set-ups and files.
• You can form a team with one or more like-minded people to share the job.
• You can add your own ‘touch’ to the well-established, successful, famous and anticipated MSS Spring Fair by the wider Motueka Community and by people from as far away as Blenheim, Murchison and Golden Bay.

You will help create a day that;

• Is full of smiles and happiness.
• Has a fun atmosphere.
• Encourages people to get active and experiment, relax and enjoy, make new friends and meet up with old.
• Provides opportunities for laughter, dance, music, games, entertainment, eating, relaxation and enjoyment.
• Will be remembered as the amazing first Spring Fair with the school on the farm.

AND – last not least – for the first time ever the fair coordinator is a paid role. You will receive $2000 to recognise the amazing job you have done.
