Our connections to our community are fundamental to the success of our school, providing our students with opportunities across the full spectrum of activities both in the classroom and beyond. MAC’s partnership with Racers Edge Wānaka reflects a shared passion for the outdoors and our commitment to giving our students the opportunity to experience the benefits of physical education and outdoor pursuits in a setting of outstanding beauty. Racers Edge provides valuable support through the provision of outdoor uniforms for our Physical Education and Health staff along with generous discounts on equipment and apparel for our school community, naming sponsorship of the MAC bike enduro competition, and second-tier sponsorship of the MAC ski championships.

KAHU YOUTH

Kahu Youth's Matariki celebration is a great whānau event for all ages!

This awesome community event cannot go ahead without the help of local volunteers, so please sign up here if you can lend a hand on Tuesday 11, Thursday 13, and Friday 14 July.

Then stay on Friday to enjoy kapa haka, waiata, bonfires and hangi!

The second phase of the Community Shuttle Trial started Monday 29 May. With the addition of intra-city loops connecting Wānaka, Three Parks, Albert Town, Northlake and Anderson Road (as well as an express Wānaka-Hāwea service), we hope this will be of use to your students/families outside of school hours.

3 Peak Season Passes for Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Mt Hutt are available for enrolled students in the Wānaka community.

• From 7 June purchasing only at town Snowcentre (corner Camp and Shotover St) or by phone 0800 697 547, in this instance you will need to bring/supply evidence of enrolment at your school.
