The New Zealand Open tournament kicks off tomorrow and runs throughout the weekend - and it’s FREE ENTRY this year.

Some of the pupils might be particularly interested in the Hyundai New Zealand Futures Festival of Golf on Saturday (February 29) at Millbrook, which is a super fun day out for kids of all ages and skill levels.

The awesome celebrity ambassadors this year, who will be playing in the tournament (students also might be a wee bit excited about some of these names), include All Blacks Beauden Barrett, Israel Dagg and Damian McKenzie, cricketers Shane Warne, Stephen Fleming, Sir Ian Botham and Chris Harris, and double international Jeff Wilson. Hayden Paddon and Ben Campbell also front up as tournament ambassadors.

What: The 101st New Zealand Open presented by Sky Sport

When: 27 February - 1 March

Where: Millbrook Resort and The Hills
