YEAR 7 WEARABLE ARTS SHOW

Recently, our Year 7 students have been exploring the concept of ‘Belonging - Turangawaewae’. As part of this learning inquiry, students created wearable art pieces representing both their own identity and a piece of New Zealand’s history, and made from recycled or repurposed materials.

Last week, students presented their wearable art pieces to parents and whānau, and 12 pieces were selected by the judges to be presented at the upcoming A&P Show.

Congratulations to all the Year 7 students on the commitment and creativity they demonstrated in completing this task. You can see our students’ wonderful creations at the Wearable Arts Parade at the A&P Show on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 March,3pm in the Rugby Club Rooms. Free Entry.
