We have had a remarkable response to our student librarian recruitment campaign and have lots of awesome applicants wanting to help in the library. We will work through all the application forms and contact everyone who applied at the start of next term. If you have applied, look out for an email from the library in Week 1 of Term 2.

We have also gathered a team of keen readers in Year 9 to compete in the Readers Cup. The Readers Cup is a reading competition for Year 9 students, where teams read a set of six books and then compete with other school teams to answer quiz questions from these books. The Otago regional competition is taking place in June, and our team of Dani, Ivy, Monte, Olivia and Zoe will be busy reading over the holidays!

If you are after something new to read, there are some great additions to our eBook collection on our MAC ePlatform. Use your MAC email address to sign in through the link on our library homepage, library.mtaspiring.school.nz, or download and install the Wheelers ePlatform app from your usual app provider, select Mount Aspiring College Library, and then sign in using your MAC email address.
