2020 Barista CoursesSenior students at MAC had the opportunity to sign up for a two-day barista course run by the lovely Trish at the Central Polytechnic campus. As you can see from the photos, the students were introduced to the commercial coffee machine and practiced making cappuccinos, flat whites and long blacks, as well as learning the history and evolution of coffee. The three groups from MAC all passed the STAR unit standard-based course and enhanced their confidence with job hunting in the hospitality industry.
