OFFICE HOURS DURING THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS

The office will be open from 9.00 am till 4.00 pm until Friday 13 December and will re-open on Monday 20 January 2020. However, please be aware that the office will be closed for lunch from 1.00 - 2.00 pm each day.

Term 1: Monday 27 January to Thursday 9 April 

(Waitangi Day: Thursday 6 February)

(Otago Anniversary Day: Monday 23 March).

Term 2: Tuesday 28 April to Friday 3 July

(Queen’s Birthday: Monday 1 June)

Term 3: Monday 20 July to Friday 25 September

Term 4: Monday 12 October to Tuesday 8 December

(Labour Day: Monday 26 October)

LOST PROPERTY

So much stuff! Jackets, puffas, hoodies. Have you misplaced something? Come to the office and we will help you have a look through our forever increasing pile of lost property.

23 January - Committees meet and greet new hostel students

28 January - All successful candidates, including House Leaders involved in an orientation day at MAC. All Committee members and House Leaders presented to the students and staff at the first assembly.  

ATTENTION SCHOOL LEAVERS

If you are using your school email account as your personal email address please make sure that you create a new personal email account and ensure that important emails regarding future courses, NCEA etc are forwarded to it. As soon as you are made a leaver (6/12/2019) you will no longer be able to access your school email account. A reminder to also let your email contacts know that your email address has changed.

LEAVING SCHOOL - JUNIOR STUDENTS

Please let us know if your child is not returning to MAC next year - a leaving form will need to be completed.

There are still 147 books in the students space and more than 100 textbooks.

Please return all items with a MAC stamp / label / barcode to the library.

THREE WAYS TO KEEP READING OVER THE HOLIDAYS

1. Head to the town library! There is a great Young adult section.
2. Go to https://maclic.wheelers.co/ to register and borrow ebooks (FREE for MAC students)
3. Offer or get offered books for Christmas!
