MUSIC

MAC band 'Better Than Nothing' gave a wonderful performance at Kai Whakapai on Saturday. Lead Guitarist Clarke West was recently awarded the Musicianship Award at the Smokefree Rockquest Central Otago Regional Final.

Our Rowing teams were treated to some beautiful winter mornings recently during squad training. How good!

OTAGO TERTIARY TRIP

Last weekend a group of year 13 students went down to visit Otago University. 

'The trip to Otago University was really helpful. The part I particularly enjoyed was having meals at two of the residential halls. We were given a guided tour by some former MAC students who gave us all of the inside details we needed to know to help make our application. On the open day I was able to sit in on some lectures and talk around courses that I am considering studying next year.' Marcus Hetherington

SUBJECT CHOICE EVENING

We had a successful subject choice evening on Tuesday with former student Daisy-Thor-Poet as a special guest. She spoke to some students about her career progression with her own production company. check it out here.
