Our students are enjoying the quiet Reading Zone in the library.

This week we have been delighted with the number of students taking the opportunity to read at break times in our quiet Reading Zone and on our comfortable couches. Other students have been playing chess and colouring. Research shows there are many benefits to reading for enjoyment including mental and social wellbeing. Playing chess and other board games has social and cognitive benefits , while colouring helps reduce stress and improve coordination and fine motor skills.
