SPORTS RESULTS

Alpha Challenge

The following MAC students all placed in the 5km High School race at the Alpha Challenge Obstacle Course event that was held 3 December.

Boys:

1st Sam Soper, 2nd Sam Beale, 3rd Lucas Parry

Girls:

1st Laia Mactaggart, 2nd Jaime Taylor, 3rd Brooke McLachlan.

The event saw lots of MAC kids out enjoying themselves and taking on challenges with their friends. The BLAST programme all smashed the course as well!

Cricket

Last week 11 MAC students took part in a Year 9/10 three day cricket tournament in Oamaru.

Our boys did exceptionally well playing three 40 over games and winning them all.

This is a great achievement for this up and coming team, beating St Thomas’ College from Christchurch, Southland Boys from Invercargill and St Kevin’s College at their home ground in Oamaru.

A big thank you to coach Sean Haig and manager Tim Muir for taking the boys and we look forward to many more great results to come from this team.
