STUDENTS IN THE COMMUNITY

Every week, Sammy and Ines go and run a craft club at Wanaka Primary school, which is especially fun for teacher Jennie Croxford, who used to teach Sammy when she was a pupil at Wanaka Primary!

This week they made pom poms and you can see the smiles and the results!

WORLD VISION YOUTH CONFERENCE 2020

On Monday, a group of students in years 12 and 13 travelled to Dunedin to attend the World Vision Youth Conference. There they listened to inspiring speakers and took part in leadership activities. The guest speakers were super inspiring and had such real stories. They heard from the people who started Project 51, a support service for those affected by Christchurch’s mosque shooting. They then discussed ideas about how to create opportunities to raise money for the people of Malawi through World Vision and the 40 Hour Famine. The day was lots of fun and the students left feeling motivated to make a difference in their community and beyond!
