ACHIEVEMENTS AND ACTIVITIES
Here we celebrate student achievement and showcase activities our students are involved in around college.
INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE CENTRE
The ILC students have had a wonderful couple of weeks back at school. A huge thank you to all of our home stay families for everything they did over the lock down to support out international family. You all deserve a cup-cake or two! A huge thanks to our teachers Megan Van and Jo Hewson-Williams, for helping everyone with their online learning and going above and beyond at this time (and always!).
HEALTH
In Health, our Year 10 students have been busy being creative, designing their 'shields of destiny'. They were tasked with designing something that represented who they are: their values, aspirations, hopes, dreams. Every year the bar is raised, as our students rise to the challenge of understanding what is important to them and everything that has contrived to make them into the amazing young person they are today!
YEAR NINE
Here's some wonderful work our year nines created during lockdown. The topic was Polynesian inquiry, and the students could choose to focus on any topic.
This Moai statue was made out of paper mache by Ollie Baldwin 9SF. His inquiry about about Rapa Nui.
This erupting volcano was made by Jonte Connelly 9SF out of chocolate cake. His inquiry was into the formation of polynesian islands.
This digital poster was crafted by Ollie Baldwin.
