SCHOOL BOARD PARENT MID TERM ELECTION 2023

Nomination round

Our school will be undertaking a mid term parent election for 2 School Board vacancies. This process will start with the issuing of nomination papers to our parent/caregiver community by Friday 22 September 2023.

We have employed CES to undertake the election process on our behalf. This year with legislative change, our nomination form and full instruction on how to place your nomination into our own school’s election website will be emailed to you if we have your email address in our database, or you will receive it by post if we don’t have your email in our database.

Nomination papers will also be available at the school office. The school will send those on to CES for processing upon receipt from candidates.

Nominations close on Wednesday 11 October at 12 noon. Election day is Wednesday 15 November.

We look forward to your participation in this process.

COLLEGE FUNDRAISER

An adventure town deserves an adventure playground at school.

Quality, well designed playgrounds mean students who are physically and mentally healthier, with minds prepared for learning.

Help 'Parents and Friends of MAC' raise funds for a new adventure playground for students. If every student contributed $67, there could be a new adventure playground available next year! We know that’s not possible for all, so we’ll be fundraising and applying for grants. Please help if you can - either by visiting our "Givealittle" page https://givealittle.co.nz/org/mount-aspiring-college, or parents of the school - please select the link below which will take you directly to the myKindo site. All payments generate an automatic receipt.

If you would like to donate directly to the school bank account: Westpac, Wanaka, MAC Board of Trustees 03-1739-0027820-00 Ref: playground.

If you are interested in getting involved with 'Parents and Friends of MAC', please register your details in the form linked on our website.
