MAC SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE - GLOBAL CLIMATE STRIKE

Lismore Park (opposite Mt Aspiring College) at 3.15pm or join the strike in town! Please bring as many people as you can, make posters, put up advertisements, and do whatever you want to spread the word about this great event. Let’s make sure we protect the beautiful whenua that surrounds Wānaka.

Climate Change is HERE, it affects us all and time is running out! The national demands for the strike are:

  • No new mines /fossil fuels
  • E-bike subsidies (to change the national conversation around transport)
  • Double marine protection
  • Make it 16 (lower the voting age)
  • Fund farmers to transition to regenerative agriculture.

Friday 3 March is our moment to come together in honour of our shared planet. Be there.

Share our event.

Tell your friends.

Bring your family.

Bring your bro. Your voice matters. If you're ready to make a stand for your future, we need all hands on deck to turn this ship around.
