E ngā reo, e ngā waka, e ngā mana, tēnā koutou katoa.

Welcome to Term 3.

Over the break, we had a large number of students travelling to Australia. Our Jazz Band and Guitar Group attended and performed at the Australian International Music Festival held in Sydney. All reports indicate our students represented the school with pride and performed well among a genuinely international lineup. As a result, both groups received Silver Awards for their adjudicated performance. I want to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of all students and parents involved and recognise the contribution of Mrs Wendy Stewart and Mr Julian Clark for their tireless support of this experience.

From 5-14 July our Rugby Programme sent a tour group to the Gold Coast. It was a fantastic experience for the boys who relished the opportunity for some international travel, and it was good to hear they performed commendably on the field. Another 'well done' and thank you to all students and parents who made the trip possible. Thanks to Mr Clarke, Mr October, Mrs Riddall and Mr Waretini-Thomas for creating this opportunity.

Term 3 is an extremely busy one with Open Evening this week for prospective students and families, our annual Lynfield College exchange, Senior Assessment Week, Winter Tournament, Show Quest and many other events. It is essential for students to plan well and seek a balance between study and other commitments to ensure they meet their goals. If you have any concerns about how your child is progressing, please make sure you contact the appropriate support.
