Welcome to the 2018 school year.

I would like to acknowledge and thank all our new students, our returning students and our new and existing parents, families and whanau. Your commitment to Mount Maunganui College contributes to its continued growth and success.

Our school's vision is;

Our vision helps shape our identity as a community of learners that includes students, staff and families. Throughout 2018 the school will host opportunities for families to engage with this vision and it is my sincere hope that you make the time and grow your knowledge of how the college is shaping the learning, well-being and character our students.

On a personal level  I am looking forward to starting my journey as Principal. I have held numerous roles within education and have been part of senior leadership teams for over 7 years. I am passionate about teaching and learning, and my core motivation is the success of our young people.

My commitment is that Mount Maunganui College will play a crucial role in ensuring our students face their future with character and confidence by providing quality teaching and learning in a well resourced and responsive environment.
