International Student Homestay
Are you interested in hosting an international college student in your family?
Mount Maunganui College has a thriving international programme, which caters for students from all parts of the world who come to study and enjoy our Mount Maunganui lifestyle.
We are processing applications from many different countries including Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Germany with our next intake of students arriving at the end of January and staying either one, two, three or four terms.
We are looking for a family environment, not necessarily with children of the same age, with host parents who are ready to welcome a student into their family and treat him / her as a part of their family. Host parents will be paid $250 per week to take care of their student. You will have the advice and support from staff at all times and the opportunity to discover and enjoy insights into a different culture, through your student.
