Alastair Sinton - Principal —

I would like to begin this newsletter by introducing and congratulating our 2018 student leaders. Student leadership in schools demands a considerable commitment from our students, often taking them outside of their comfort zones. The college requires high levels of engagement and conduct from our leaders, but in return, we endeavour to foster their growth as leaders. With that in mind, we are looking forward to their thoughts and experiences that they will present to assemblies this term around the theme ‘well-being’.

Thank you to all parents and students who made it along to our NCEA Information Evening. It is a complex assessment system that requires careful management by schools, students and families. The slideshow from the evening is available on our website should you wish to have a look. If you suspect your child needs support with NCEA or you have any other concerns please feel free to contact the appropriate dean.

With our school information evening coming up, as well as school interviews before the end of the term, I am looking forward to seeing you at these events.
