The PPTA has confirmed that further action will include “rostering home”. This means groups of students will not be taught and not be expected to be at school - all other year levels are expected to be at school.

The schedule for the rostering is as follows:

Tuesday 4 June - Year 9
Tuesday 11 June - Year 10
Tuesday 25 June -Year 11
Tuesday 2 July - Year 12

Further to this, “rolling regional strikes” are planned, but not confirmed as yet, with the Western Bay of Plenty scheduled strike planned for Tuesday 18 June. If this planned action does proceed it will again affect all students and the school will be closed for instruction. Once again non-PPTA members can supervise your child if you require on Tuesday 18 June.
