A note from Damien.

Damien Harris —

Kia ora Koutou, Welcome to this weeks edition of The Pipeline.

Kia ora koutou, thanks for taking the time to read our Pipeline this week. We've been talking about how helpful it is when you (our community) read and note important things from our various forms of communication. We try as a school to keep our comms clear and predictable (same day etc) so you know what to expect of us. We are planning to further streamline this next year so watch this space for a few updates.

I was fortunate to spend most of last week at our Senior Camp which was this year held at Ngāruawahia. I was many times during our camp reminded of how important experience like this are for our Mounties, I think I can say they are experienced a challenge while they were away, for some it was eating different food, for others it was staying away from home, others it was a long walk or a very cold water slide, I am so proud of how our Mounties supported each other and with this support how many pushed themselves out of their comfort zone and experienced something new. I'd like to thank our Senior Team teachers especially Anita Styles for the hour and hours of extra work they have put in to making this happen for our Mounties.

Planning for 2025 is well underway and whilst our Mounties are still fully immersed in their learning this term our Team are working in 'the now' and also our future as we prepare for 2025. If you are planning on leaving Mount Primary at the end of this year and haven't told us can you please flick Shanie an email to let us know (shanier@mtprimary.school.nz).

Enjoy the rest of our Pipeline and remember to please support those who support our school (our sponsors).
