While most of us are relaxing into the holidays Aria Purdie has been in Wellington on an all expenses paid business challenge.

The Entrepreneurs in Action (EIA) programme selects 60 young entrepreneurs from around the country for a 48 hour back to back business challenge. The teams of students have two problems to solve by creating a product that will not only deal with the problem but also be financially viable and marketable. They are hosted for their time by innovative and creative Wellington companies who give up their time and resources to support the students. They need to work efficiently, think creatively and act entrepreneurially. 

 A once in a life time opportunity for Aria. 

Her next challenge when she gets back to Timaru will be to deliver her business pitch to a Dragons Den to convince them her own business idea warrants their backing.
