Over the past few weeks our TikiTextile Academy Class has had some lovely ladies come to school from the Timaru Library Knitting group to teach them some techniques of knitting.

They have been learning about the process of wool production, wool types and how wool can be used to make a variety of products.
It has been great to see how the Timaru Library Largest Knitted Blanket Fort was able to bring the community together and bring knitting to a new generation. Thank you for giving up your time to help us with our knitting skills.
