Don Martin —

Kia ora! Following the technological design process, our year 9 and 10 tamariki have designed and constructed key rings using aluminum and marine ply. Students made use of the Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) programme to draw their design which was then cut using the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) laser cutter. In the engineering workshop students used a number of hand tools to construct the aluminum backing plate. This was a fantastic project, that produced awesome results – tino pai team!
