Congratulations to our very own Miss Charteris

The Willows Cricket Club —

Back at the beginning of April Miss Charteris was selected to play for the International XI - one of twelve former New Zealand players who came together to take on some of the best schoolgirl cricketers in the country.

It was a momentous day at The Willows.  For those who were there it was a very special occasion that will live on in their memories for a long time. Against the backdrop of the picturesque Willows ground, twelve former New Zealand players came together to take on some of the best schoolgirl cricketers in the country.

It was a wonderful opportunity for these players of yesteryear to dust off their cricket skills (many of them very dusty) and test themselves on the cricket field again. For their schoolgirl counterparts, it was a chance to pitch their skills against some older, wiser former players and revel in the atmosphere of The Willows.

It was a narrow win to the Schoolgirls XI - Congratulations
