Kia ora koutou ... Below is the information you require to set up your times with each teacher for the upcoming whānau conferences. These conferences are a continuation of the discussion you had with your child's class teacher in Term 1.

You should already have a copy of the Term 1 Conference Summary Sheet (if not, please email your child's class teacher and ask for it to be sent home). At these conferences, you will review the goals set in Term 1 and revise or set new ones. This mid-year report will include where your child is currently placed within the NZ curriculum levels.

Parent Conference Booking…

These will be held over three days (from 2:15pm - 8:00pm each day)

• Thursday 2 August

• Tuesday 7 August

• Thursday 9 August

• Families with more than one sibling at school book early to ensure you can arrange your conferences on the same day, preferably back-to-back

• Then families with one child at school book after this date. This should help families not having to spread conferences over too many days

• Basecamp, you will be advised by the teachers who to arrange your booking with. The newest members of Basecamp will not require a conference.

What you need to know…

• We use an online booking system for parents to book a suitable time

• Each interview is 30 minutes long

• Interviews will finish at 8:00pm each day

• It is expected you will book a 30 minute slot for each of your children over the three days allocated. The allocation allows for 1 time slot for each child. However, if a family needs a second interview time, please contact the class teacher directly to book a time outside of these conferences

• If you do not have access to the Internet, please call the office to book a time

• School will be closed at 2pm on each of these days. OSCAR will be providing a service, please contact Kath Gray van Olst

How to book a conference time:

Step 1 – Log on to http://www.schoolinterviews.co.nz/

Step 2 – Type this code skkpu into the green school code box.

Step 3 – Follow the prompts to select your child’s year level, teacher etc.

Step 4 – Select an available time slot that suits you.
