Term 4 of Robotics is going really well! 

Kellen and Hanno have spent the last 5 weeks teaching enthusiastic kids all sorts of critical thinking skills related to robotics and technology. Kids used RobotMagic software on laptops to program both virtual and real robots to draw geometric shapes, solve puzzles and play games. The kids were all very excited to use simple command blocks to make the robots “turn”, “move” and “beep”. 

 Once they understood the basics, they quickly progressed to writing longer and more complex programs that used more complicated concepts like variables and procedures and were also introduced to JavaScript- on of the language powering the internet.
