Following on from their successful performance at the Aupaki Cultural Festival at Sumner School in early August, our group were invited to perform for the Mt Pleasant Kindy tamariki.

Our students, led by Noah and Izzy, gave a strong and confident performance and then shared waiata with the kindy students, it is great to see how far this small group has progressed. We can see their mana grow with every performance.

Matua Te Huaki has been instrumental with his tuakana-teina relationship. He has guided and supported them into the polished performers they have become. Their enthusiasm has inspired even more tamariki to join our Kapa Haka group.

Ka mau te wehi Tamariki!
