The Mt Pleasant magic totally shone off the Mt Pleasant School triathlon team out at Pegasus on Wednesday morning. 

An impressive effort by Vinne H, Holly S, Juliet F, George M and Will K who all competed with courage and determination and, judging by the huge grins given to the Mt Pleasant School marshall near the bike leg and the end of the run, they all had a pretty good time out on course too.

Most impressive was the way they got over their start line nerves to run into the murky and rather cold water to tackle the 75m swim to start. Coming out of the water they then rode their bikes for a 6km bike leg followed by a 2.2km run around lake Pegasus. 

 Very impressive racing by all with Vinnie H coming in 34th in 9 year boys, Holly S in 14th for 9 year girls, Will K 74th and George M 87th in 10 year boys and Juliet F in 13th in the 10 year girls grade. 

 Great effort team, let’s do it again next year!
