What is the PYP all about?

Meagan Kelly —

Join us on Wednesday 5 June at 7pm to learn more about your child's learning within the Primary Years Programme.

Mt Pleasant School is one of only three schools in the South Island to offer the IB Primary Years Programme. But what exactly does this mean?

Join us as we navigate the three pillars of the PYP and demystify the language and structure of our learning programmes.

We are offering two parent and whānau workshops (no kids please) this year, with a focus on The Learner, Teaching and Learning, and The Learning Community. The workshops will focus on different parts of the PYP and you may choose to attend one or both of the workshops.

One thing we know for sure, our tamariki are always keen to share their learning! We will use examples of work from our proud students to show you how the PYP actually works in the classroom and beyond.

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED this power hour of learning about and through the lens of the PYP.
