Keen for a Boarder?

Our fabulous Chinese teacher Gabby is traipsing all the way from Halswell (on the BUS...for 2 hours each way) every day she comes in to teach at MPS.  If anyone has a spare room (or knows someone who does!!) they would be prepared to let out to a delightful boarder for the rest of the year....please let us know in the School Office!

WICKED ROGAINE SERIES

These fun after work rogaines are perfect for getting your body and brain exercised. As usual, there will be 2hr and 1hr course options. Come along and bring your friends!
This time we will be introducing the flexible start times for the 1hr event. That means that teams doing it will be able to start anytime between 6:30pm and 7:30pm.
ALL PROFITS FROM THE FIRST EVENT WILL GO TO THE SUMMIT ROAD SOCIETY
One of our favourite places to host a rogaine, the Ohinetahi Reserve owned by the Summit Road Society, got severely damaged, which is devastating for our whole community. They have always been very generous letting us use their land. We decided to donate all the money from the entries to them. Please come along and spread the word.
NEW WICKED KIDS FUN EVENT
Specially created for the little ones!
Aiming to encourage the little kids (under 7yrs) to get outside and try rogaining, we are launching the Wicked Kids Fun event. It will be an 1hr event with easier controls around the start/finish area. Kids must be accompanied by an adult and teams will be able to start any time between 5:30 - 7:30pm.

Football for 5-8 year olds

Ferrymead Bays Football offers First Kicks for 4-6 year olds and Fun Football for 7-8 year olds. Enjoyment and learning in a skill-based environment.
9-10am each Saturday morning at Ferrymead Park, starts April 1st.

Cleaning job 

I am about to advertise my Air BnB and I would very much like to offer casual employment to a parent with children still at Mt. Pleasant school. The time involved would only be an hour after each bookings. 
Details:  One bed to change, floor of bedroom plus small kitchen to hoover, sink plus bathroom to clean. No bath, just shower. Breakfast foods to top up. No laundering to do.
One hour at $30 for each clean. Not sure yet how many days per week we will have bookings.
