In a bid to save our school some money, we are looking for volunteers to help with a few things around our school.  Can you help with any of these?....

Mt Pleasant School is a member of the Bridge to Rocks Timebank so if you are a also a member, any help you can lend will also earn you credits.  If you are not a member and want to become a one, check out the website HERE.

It would be really good if we can achieve this within our own community & avoid paying for the labour to get these things done.  If you can help with any of these, please email me ASAP: caretaker@mtpleasant.school.nz

Gardening

Gardens being gardens, they need a good going over every now & then. We are due for another good going over.   Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Bark rejuvenation

The bark in the playgrounds needs to be dug up & reshuffled to keep it soft for children to land on.  We need @ 10 people to help with this... this could be a good way for children to earn some community service hours??

Swimming Pool

Our pool needs to be re-painted over the winter months to ready it for another great season next summer.  

We need:

• 2 people to water blast
  
• 2 people to help with grinding & tidying
  
• 4-6 people to help with painting
  

(Work around the pool will be adults only)

Soccer Goals

The nets need replacing -  we have new nets all set to go, we just need a few extra pairs of hands to get this installed.
