For over 45 years, young people of Aotearoa have stood together and shown the world what our small nation is capable of through the World Vision 40 Hour Famine. Now it's your turn to shape history! Right now, the fall-out from the COVID-19 pandemic is pushing millions of kids in sub-Saharan Africa to the brink of starvation, and many may not survive. But we can choose what happens next.

Your challenge is to live without something you rely on for 40 hours, such as transport, furniture, technology or food. You'll experience life without one of your necessities to give a child the tools they need for a hunger-free future - food, seeds, chickens and more.
