In order to generate wonderings about how changes in the environment can impact on the animals that live there, Room 4 has been learning about different habitats. 

We have been making connections between the animals and identifying what the animals needs are and how their habitat is designed to fit the surroundings. The children have been amazed at how clever animals are and bees are one example.

We were very lucky to be able to see the bee habitat up close when Ben’s Dad brought their viewing slide attached to a hive to school. The children had a lot of questions to ask and Ben was able to answer them all! It is great that the children are able to share their knowledge and learn so much from each other in this way.
