A huge crowd gathered down on the court as the much-anticipated dodgeball battle between the Year 8s and staff got underway.

From the opening whistle it was clear that it was going to be a competitive and very close affair. Both teams traded blows like two heavyweight boxers going toe to toe. As one team threatened to over-power, the other team would quickly nullify any such chance. As expected there was plenty of gamesmanship, combined with some clever tactical play and some obvious twisting of the rules, otherwise known as cheating - mainly by the staff. At the end of the torrid match it was simply too close to call, and the result was declared a draw.

A huge thanks to all who took part as well as Ms Wilson who kindly controlled proceedings. It now makes things even more interesting heading into the next encounter in Term 4.
