The Mt. Pleasant Heat basketball side, playing in the Cowles Stadium Year 7/ 8 competition, had begun this year’s campaign with two solid wins. 

Last week saw them dispose of the Te Waka Unua 14 – 3 and this week produce a similar result as they beat the Chisnallwood Juggernauts 14 – 8.

Their next game is effectively a local derby as they take on Sumner Surfers at 4.00pm next Tuesday 13 June on Court 2. It should be another exciting challenge, one I’m sure the lads will embrace. Good luck and here’s to many more positive results throughout the rest of the season!
