MPS @ Kaikoura Adventure Race
With a fantastic 6 teams entered in 2023, it was a very impressive showing from the Mt Pleasant School Adventure Race Squad members that took part in the South Island Secondary Schools Adventure Race Champs on Saturday 15 April.
This event, doubling as the Kaikoura Adventure race, was held on and around the coast to the south of Kaikoura, finishing at Conway Flat community hall. The weather on the day was thankfully dry, but after a very wet week leading into the event the ground conditions were extremely wet and muddy. Our students showed incredible courage, grit, determination, and team work to push through some extremely trying conditions to the finish. A remarkable effort from the following teams.
