Rooms 1,2 and 3 recently visited Ferrymead Heritage Park to learn about life in the 1950s, as part of their inquiry into 'Technology keeps changing and affects people's lives'.

We had a great day making scones (because you couldn't just pop to the shop on a Sunday morning to buy morning tea for visitors ), watching TV shows like 'Lassie', playing old fashioned games and learning in an old-school classroom. We also loved looking at the old style appliances and vehicles. ​
