Exhibition vs Exhibition

Maria Arneil —

At Te Kura o Paeraki | Mt Pleasant School we like to challenge our community but this year Term 3 will take the cake!!

We will be running TWO Exhibitions AND YOU are ALL invited to both!!! So get your calendars out and SAVE THE DATES - it is going to be a busy week!!!

Wednesday 13th September is our fabulous PYP Exhibition (6:00 - 7:30 pm)

This is where our Year 8’s showcase their own inquiry, demonstrating the culmination of their Primary Years Programme learning and being in the driver's seat as they plan, facilitate and act on an issue close to their heart. We are inviting everyone to come to this evening at our school, where you can meet and talk directly to our Year 8's about their inquiry, as well as view their presentations. We are always proud of the varied topics and issues that our senior students choose and this is a terrific stepping stone for them as they depart our school and head to high school. This exhibition will be held in Paparahi (School Hall).

PYP Exhibition 2021

Friday 15th September is our amazing Art Exhibition launch evening (Ticket only) followed by the general public entry all day Saturday (16th September).

This is held at the Mt Pleasant Community Center and includes exhibits from local (and not so local) artists, as well as a huge array of work from our emerging artists from every class at school. This is a fabulous opportunity for you to rub shoulders with some very talented people, both tall and short!!

Both these exhibitions involve enormous amounts of work from our students and we encourage you to come and join us for both amazing occasions.

We look forward to seeing you there.
