Room 2 is investigating habitats. We went on a bug hunt on the school grounds. We are learning that habitats have food, water and shelter and have somewhere to protect the animals from predators. 

We also had Janet from Willowbank come and talk to us about the conservation work they do there to help boost the kiwi chick numbers. She brought ‘Burke’ the tuatara along and shared lots of interesting facts.
