You will notice we have changed the way this newsletter appeared in your inbox… this is in direct response to some feedback we received through the Communication Survey. Thank you to all the people who responded to this survey.

Following feedback received on the survey run in our last newsletter, we thought we would address some of our cyber-safety policies, such as why we don't use surnames in our communications home.

What a fabulous week, a huge thank you to all our families for embracing Book Week. The Book Parade was the best ever, with nearly all students enjoying the opportunity to dress up as a favourite book character.

As part of our ‘hundred days of school’ celebrations, the Room 1 children thought and wrote about what they wanted to achieve before they reached the age of 100.

In Basecamp we have been doing lots of activities involving the number 100.

As part of our Inquiry this term, “We have stories for lots of reasons” we have been reading the story of ‘The Fun Bus’ by Jill Eggelton.

Many thanks to the parents & pikelets who did such a great job moving the bark in our playgrounds.

Room 3 have finished their inquiry into the cycles and patterns of nature. We painted the winter sun and winter landscape. 

Team Magma stepped back in time for inspiration for their individually designed toys and games.

This group of budding engineers from Mt Pleasant School gained FIRST EQUAL in the semi-finals which gained them a place in the Canterbury Grand Finals. 

Mt Pleasant Blue netball team has finished a successful first term of future ferns netball. 

Having taken out the dodgeball encounter back in Term One, the Year 8s happily accepted the staff’s challenge, this time in the sport of netball.

Raised $433.10 for the Child Cancer Foundation

We have had an awesome response to our fundraising effort for the 40 hour famine this year... Big thanks to all the children who did their best to raise money to help the children in Syria!  Together they raised over $3,700!

The Community Dental Service will operate an emergency service over the school holidays.
