Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand —

Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand is looking for awesome, community-driven, passionate, young people to be part of a new Rangatahi Hauora Advisory Group for 2023.

Rangatahi voice is so important to shape the work we do to make it relevant and reflective of young people’s lives, so that future generations get much better health and wellbeing results.

If you are aged 15-25yrs, passionate about voicing the lived experience of young people and identify as Māori, Pasifika and/or part of the rainbow community, then nau mai – Te Whatu Ora want to hear from you.

As part of the Rangatahi Hauora Advisory Group, you will provide expert advice, experience, and vision for health promotion projects on kaupapa including mental wellbeing, vaping, smoking, alcohol, sexual health and wellbeing and discrimination.

Applications close Wednesday 30 November 2022.

2. Fill in the application form and email it to Abby Johnson (a.johnson@hpa.org.nz) by Wednesday 30 November 2022

3. In your email, please confirm that you are available for:

  • a Zoom hui on Wednesday 21 December 2022
  • an in-person wānanga on Thursday 26 January 2023 in Wellington (we cover your travel, food, and accommodation).

4. Stand by to hear from us about your application by Tuesday 6 December 2022.
