Rock the City

Nayland College —

Youth event Rock the City returns to Nelson’s Theatre Royal on Friday 21 June at 7pm, with an all-ages music gig featuring ten of the region’s hottest up and coming youth bands performing live on stage.

There will be a fantastic lineup of local youth bands (including Nayland College students) ready to take to the stage at Rock the City.
Regional Smoke Free Rockquest (SFRQ) People’s Choice Award winners Blind Eye (Waimea College) will be joined on stage by fellow SFRQ finalists Wiz Kid and the Biscuits, Small Talk (Waimea College), The Indoor Kites, and Riot of the Moment (Nelson Boys College).
Rounding out the line-up is 3’s a Crowd, Reece Milton (Nayland College), Looking Sharpe (Waimea College), Twenty Five Seventeen (Nelson Boys College), and Jess & Tagan (Motueka High School).

Tickets are just $10 and are available from Ticket Direct online, or at the Theatre Royal Box Office. Door sales ($12) may be available on the night, but highly unlikely with a lineup this epic so get in early to avoid the disappointment of missing out.
