Riley Barton Y10, had a successful trip to Christchurch earlier this term, placing second in the South Island Olympic Weightlifting New Zealand for the combined Men's 67kg weight class. The boy who won was 18 years and Riley is only 14 years so it is a massive achievement!

Riley is putting in the mahi and is aiming to compete in the inter-school competition in Wellington in September.
