Whanake Youth has an exciting opportunity for any young person interested in film. As an event arranged through our youth leadership program, we will be hosting a movie night at the Whanake Youth HQ hall, at the back of the Stoke youth park, 548 Main Rd Stoke, Stoke Nelson. The movie being screened will be the frightfully famous 2007 movie, Paranormal Activity. And at the end of the movie, we are fortunate enough to have the extremely talented writer/producer/director Oren Peli join us for a Q&A about his film and the industry.

The event is on 7 July, from 5:30pm for the movie and 7pm to meet the maker. This is a 16+ event, due to the movie rating. However, those under the age of 16 are invited to attend the meet the maker session from 7pm with Oren Peli.

This is not only going to be a night of fun and frights, but it is going to be such a fantastic opportunity for young people to get an introduction into the film industry.
