Daisy became an orphaned lamb when her mum gave birth to triplets. She was the last lamb to be born and as it was late in the day, she became hypothermic when the temperature dropped. She didn’t manage to stand up and suckle so her mother rejected her and trotted off with the other 2 lambs. So, Ms G jumped into action and put a felt jacket on her and tube fed her warm milk to warm her up quickly. She has needed to be fed every 4 - 5 hours therefore she had to come to school and join Ms G’s 11A1 tutor as well as the other art/photography classes over the past week! Daisy has been very well received by all that meet her at NayCol and she certainly brings joy into our lives at quite a busy time in Term 3.
