Derived Grade Exams

Nayland College Official —

Please find attached a copy of the exam timetable for next week's derived grade exams along with some important information.

Derived Grade exams begin next week, with morning exams running from 9-12 and afternoon exams from 1-4pm.

These are essential to monitor progress and to provide evidence if needed for external exams if a student is ill or unable to perform to the best of their ability. This is particularly important for this year with the spectre of Covid-19 potentially impacting on exams.

Evidence shows that being prepared for the school exam leads to success in the NCEA externals.

Students are not required to attend school outside of their timetable assessment times.

The assessment timetable can be found here.

Students need to wear uniform when at school next week.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for seating.

Ensure you have all the necessary equipment needed for theexam.

Exam papers should be completed in blue or black pen.

If you miss an exam or have a clash, come at the next available time to sit your assessment.

If you have Special Assessment Conditions meet in the Library.
