And the Chief Scout Award goes to... Silas Bailey!
The Chief Scout Award is the highest award a Scout can achieve, one that only two percent of Scouts ever receive. Well done Silas!!
Last month Year 9 student Silas Bailey received a certificate signed by The Chief Scout, The Governor General, The Rt Hon Cindy Kiro, acknowledging his incredible achievement in mastering outdoor skills, volunteer and community service, leadership challenges and a five day self-planned expedition. Silas’ expedition involved travelling to Haast via horse, foot, quad bike, jet boat and van!
In a letter from the National Commissioner and Deputy Chief Scout Raani Kelderman, Silas was praised for demonstrating a high level of perseverance, leadership, teamwork and courage.
Congratulations Silas and all the best for your future endeavours!
